A very big thank you to all who have donated to Oxford United in the Community. Every gift of every size makes a difference, providing crucial funding and inspiring others to pledge their support.
As part of our 30th Anniversary Celebrations and the Dream Big Appeal we have set up a JustGiving page.
Regular monthly, quarterly or annual gifts are very important to us, allowing us to more accurately predict our income and plan our expenditure. Set up a regular gift by direct debit here.
Single gifts are deeply appreciated and can be donated here.
If you would rather donate by cheque please download a gift aid form here and post it to: Chris Lowes, Head of Operations, Oxford United FC, Grenoble Road, Oxford OX4 4XP
A legacy gift in your will represents a very great honour for Oxford United in the Community. Do please let us know if you have left or are considering leaving a bequest. While we are not able to provide advice in writing your will, we can provide an outline of the main types of legacy gift as well as suggested wording. Email Chris Lowes for more information.
From 6 April 2012, any estate which leaves at least 10% of its taxable wealth to a charitable cause will be able to take advantage of a reduced rate in IHT, from its normal level of 40% down to 36%. What this means in practice is the benefit to a charitable cause will be four times greater than the cost to the estate’s beneficiary, as HMRC will shoulder the burden of 76 pence for every pound donated, whereas the estate pays only 24 pence.
For those people who are already planning to leave a legacy, the new rules result in a breakeven level of 4% (of taxable wealth) – i.e. there is no greater cost to the beneficiary if the estate donates 4% or 10% of the taxable wealth to charity.
Sporting Kit Gifts
A key part of any sports participation programme is the professional-grade quality of the kit and equipment used in the sessions. They send a clear message of confidence in and esteem for the people, young and old, who are taking part.
If you have any kit or equipment and are unsure as to whether we will be able to use them then do please get in touch by email or phone at 01865 783236.
